Digia’s employee, Jussi T. Saarinen, is a new European Champion on Haidong Gumdo. European Championship competition on Haidong Gumdo took place in Bad Kreuznach in Germany on Saturday, 3rd of November.

Haidong Gumdo is a sword martial art originating from South-Korea. There have been six World Championships and two European Championships so far, each including many different disciplines of sword handling that require accuracy, such as bamboo cutting, paper cutting, thrown ball cutting and putting out candles.

Jussi is a new European Champion on Haidong Gumdo Bamboo Cutting, in which competitor has to cut bamboo sticks in the order that has been determined in advance by the judges.
