Digia Enterprise participates in the ‘Does it have the Key Flag’ campaign
Digia Enterprise is a Finnish ERP system that has been awarded the Key Flag (Avainlippu) symbol. By participating in the ‘Onhan siinä Avainlippu’ (‘Does it have the Key Flag’) campaign of the Association for Finnish Work, Digia wants to highlight the importance of domestic work behind its products.
The Digia Enterprise ERP System has been developed specifically for the needs of Finnish companies. Digia Enterprise is scalable according to the needs of businesses of different sizes in different industries. Digia Enterprise has been awarded the Key Flag symbol, and it also participates in the ‘Onhan siinä Avainlippu’ campaign. With the three-year campaign, the Association of Finnish Work wants to give the Key Flag the value it deserves and increase the recognition of the symbol.
“Digia is a Finnish company. To us, being Finnish and using Finnish labour are a matter of heart. Enterprise and its Key Flag status are very important to us, and by participating in the campaign, we want to emphasize this,” says Heikki Honkala, head of Digia’s Industry Solutions business area.
The Key Flag is a symbol of Finnish work. The symbol can be awarded to a product manufactured in Finland. In addition, the share of Finnish costs in the manufacturing costs of the product, i.e. the degree of domestic origin, must be at least 50%. All costs related to the product are taken into account in the calculation.
“Research results indicate that Finns want to make value-based choices. However, at the time of purchase, this is often forgotten. The aim of the campaign is to have the customer stop to think before making a purchase decision. We teach buyers to check if the product or service carries the Key Flag. In this way, we help customers make choices complying with their own values,” says Project Manager Merja Mantila of the Association of Finnish Work.
The ‘Onhan siinä Avainlippu’ campaign will be seen in the Digia Enterprise communications and, for example, in the Digia Enterprise customer event in the autumn.
The ‘Onhan siinä Avainlippu’ (‘Does it have the Key Flag’) campaign is a three-year joint campaign of the Association of Finnish Work and the Key Flag companies. The purpose of the campaign is to increase the recognition of the Key Flag symbol and its impact on purchase decisions. www.avainlippu.fi
