On 15 November 2018, Trade Union Pro and Digia signed a framework agreement, based on which Digia will provide Pro with a new membership information system. In addition to the system delivery, the agreement will cover the renewal of online services and service requests, and membership forms.
The project was launched as soon as the contract was signed, and the various sections are phased for 2019.
"The primary aim of Pro is to develop its activities from the perspective of its members. Key principles during the development work include increasing the self-service function for members and improving the customer experience of various stakeholders. To achieve these goals, we can make use of service design and the strong experience of Digia when implementing electronic services,” comments Jaana Aaltonen, Director of Communications at Trade Union Pro.
"Our internal goal is the introduction of an ERP system, which markedly facilitates the processing of routines, based on our membership data. Digia was able to provide a system that is easy to deploy and can be rapidly and cost-effectively integrated with other systems. With Digia, we can renew our overall system in a coordinated manner through a single supplier,” Aaltonen adds.
