Vainu.io wanted to boost the efficiency of its processes and replace its five different financial administration solutions with a single platform. Digia provided Vainu with a NetSuite system that was introduced in Finland, Norway and Sweden.

As part of its rapid growth, Vainu.io thought it necessary to boost the efficiency of its processes. Digia deployed and localised NetSuite for Vainu.io.

Finland, Sweden and Norway involved in NetSuite deployment

“We wanted to start in Finland, but from the outset it was clear that we would also begin preparing for deployment in Sweden and Norway immediately after we had things working smoothly in Finland. We naturally tested contract renewals and income recognition, and boosted the efficiency of our invoicing processes, but we were also able to continue with the second and third deployment stages in our other main business areas in the Nordic countries,” says Vainu’s CFO Sami Kekäläinen.

“Our NetSuite project with the Digia NetSuite team began in September 2018. We started the deployment process in early February 2019. It continued in Sweden in February, and we managed to launch deployment in Norway in March. I would say that the consulting we received from Digia’s NetSuite financial consultants was true art,” says Sami.

An agile project procedure ensures that all business requirements are fulfilled after the analysis stage. Customers receive a description of the solution, an integration strategy, a development queue for the solution, fit/gap analyses, and a project plan.

These five elements create a firm foundation for both implementation during development and steering throughout the entire project. They also facilitate controlled deployment in several countries and a move towards continuous services.
