The Finnish family-owned company Broman Group is the leading player in its field. It consists of companies specialising in cars and spare parts. The Group consists of the Motonet companies in three different countries, Varaosamaailma and Broman Logistics, employing approximately 2,000 professionals. In the financial year ending in 2024, the Group's turnover exceeded EUR 480 million.

"Our growth in recent years will accelerate further with our expansion to Sweden. This also challenges financial administration in a whole new way. Businesses must be able to react to changes constantly, so financial administration must also provide up-to-date and high-quality data to support decision-making. Digitalisation and automation play a key role in this. With the help of high-quality data, we can make better predictive analyses and business decisions that bring competitive advantage", says Antti Varis, CFO of Broman Group.

Broman Group utilises a comprehensive and modern Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment for financial management. In the future, Digia, which has a long history in the wholesale trade sector and well-known references in the trading sector, will be responsible for the continuous services and development of the environment.

"It is important to us that the financial management partner takes care of its role so that we do not waste unnecessary time solving the challenges of the system environment. We can be confident that our solution will be as cost-effective as possible. In addition, our partner must be constantly on the map of the direction modern financial administration is developing and keep us involved. We chose Digia because we believe it is the best on the market in ensuring these important things to us", Varis says.

Harnessing the potential of AI and automation

"We have previously collaborated on integrations, for example. Expanding our well-functioning cooperation and helping the Group develop intelligent business more comprehensively is great. It is a pleasure to work with a company that recognises the importance of smart solutions for business success and is ready to invest in growth and development", says Jarkko Savolainen, Digia's Vice President, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Unified Operations.

In connection with the takeover of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment, Digia will also model and develop the company's financial processes to meet the growing needs and requirements of the Broman Group. At the same time, a foundation will be laid for utilising artificial intelligence and increasing the degree of automation.

"Together, we will develop Broman Group's current operations, but at the same time, we will create excellent opportunities for utilising automation and new technologies, such as artificial intelligence. The AI revolution is now advancing at a rapid pace in ERP systems, and it offers huge change and productivity potential for companies," Savolainen says.
