Digia lowers financial guidance on operating result for the year 2017
Due to the delivery challenges of some projects, the company is lowering its profitability forecast for the year 2017. The projects in question are expected to have a negative effect on operating result and net sales. The company makes a loss provision for the third quarter and estimates the current third quarter to show a loss. Investments in the development of digital services are also burdening the result of year 2017. The operating result for the full-year 2017 is expected to decline compared to the previous year.
Demand for Digia's projects and services has remained at a good level. Digia is expecting the development of its net sales to remain unchanged. Digia's net sales growth is expected to accelerate in 2017 compared to previous year.
Revised guidance for 2017
Digia's net sales growth is expected to accelerate in 2017 (2016: net sales up 6.8%). The company expects its operating result to decline compared to 2016.
Previous guidance (issued on 3 February 2017, 28 April 2017 and 11 August 2017)
Digia's net sales growth is expected to accelerate in 2017 (2016: net sales up 6.8%). Operating profit in 2017 should remain approximately on a par with the previous year (2016: EUR 5.4 million).
