The Finnish Defence Forces has put its Network Information System out to tender and selected Digia Plc as its supplier partner. During 2023–2030, Digia will provide the Finnish Defence Forces with a documentation management system for information networks and related maintenance, support and training services. The agreement also includes an option to purchase a system for networks of different classifications. The system will undergo an information security audit following Katakri 2020 before commissioning.

"It is great to deepen our long-term cooperation with the Finnish Defence Forces. The delivery of the Network Information System gives us a new perspective on the maintenance of information systems", says Jussi Tammelin, Director of Digia's Defence unit.

Digia is a trusted partner of the Finnish Defence Forces, and cooperation has continued for twenty years. Digia operates as a digitalisation partner of the Finnish Defence Forces, and the company was granted the Finnish Defence Forces' national Facility Security Clearance (FSC) at the end of 2022.

"We have solid experience innovating, developing and producing digital services for the defence industry. Reliability and safety are the foundation of our operations, but we also have a proven prerequisite to operate in national deliveries that meet high safety requirements. In cooperation, we bring our extensive expertise to our customers to improve the efficiency of operations", Tammelin adds.
