SOK is the central organization of S Group, Finland's largest retail company, which also operates in Estonia, and is responsible for the Group's strategy, chain management, joint procurement, and support services.

"Building growth and profitability requires investments and the development of services and operational efficiency. We promote these with our modern integration, API, and cloud services, which we have successfully implemented together with Digia for years," says Risto Holmala, IT Area Lead at SOK.

The cooperation will renew SOK's integration architecture and services to meet the Group's strategic goals. In addition, operating and service models and processes are optimized to meet efficiency requirements.

"It is great to be able to continue our impressive cooperation, which can be seen in the everyday lives of almost all Finns. Our integration services support S Group's critical processes and functions, which help to ensure that goods move from the warehouse and do not run out of them on store shelves," says Mikko Hakola, Vice President, Integration and Data at Digia.

SOK is a pioneer in integration services

Digia provides SOK's full lifecycle integration services, in close cooperation with the organization's own experts and units.

The cooperation is based on a modern, centralized service model and lifecycle thinking, which enables anticipation, quality, and continuous renewal.

"It is great that SOK relies on our strong expertise in data, integration, and AI to accelerate the development of its business. Our strength lies in our leading experts in the field and our productized services and solutions. We can renew and drive renewal. We are able to create a new kind of added value for our customers, and we want to be very good at this in the future as well," Hakola adds.
