Digia invests in the defence industry sector by establishing a new Defence unit

Digital services for the defence industry require long-term development, scalability and ensured operational reliability and data security. “Digia's organisation already has more than 130 experts with a security clearance, with new ones added as needed. Several dozens of top experts work full time in the defence industry, bringing the latest expertise to the sector. We are also determined in our efforts to build a Finnish network of professionals in different areas of expertise. Through the Digia Hub competence centre, we provide our experience and expertise for the defence industry under the theme “Together we are more”,” Paihonen adds.

Digia’s new Defence Unit began its operations in early May 2022.
