ENDigia Cybersecurity Hub responds to the growing demand for cyber experts
Digia Cybersecurity Hub brings together more than 200 experienced cyber and information security experts and companies. The network quickly and flexibly provides expertise for the use of different industries easing the resource challenges of organisations when there is intense competition on the labour market for specialists in the field.
Organisations' need for cybersecurity services and expertise has increased as cyber threats have increased and they have also changed their shape to make them more difficult to detect.
"Digia Cybersecurity Hub brings together the best experts in the field to the one network that enables our customers to get very comprehensive and versatile expertise for their cyber and information security needs quickly and easily. Through the network, the necessary experts are always available for both shorter and longer assignments, whether it is information security development, planning, implementation or project management," says Hannu Arvelo, Director of Digia's Secure and Scalable Solutions unit.
Digia Cybersecurity Hub provides a flexible and fast way for resourcing projects, especially in situations where teams with specific special skills or diverse skills are needed. More than 200 information and cybersecurity experts are involved in the start-up phase of the network, and the number of experts is growing all the time. New partners and experts can easily join.
"The demand for cybersecurity services and expertise is growing rapidly. Last year, we gained more than 30 new customers for our own cybersecurity services. Cybersecurity Hub enables us to serve existing and new customers even more extensively together with our partners," Arvelo continues.
In addition to cyber and information security experts, the IT industry is also facing intensive competition for other experts. Digia Cybersecurity Hub is part of the Digia Hub network, which includes more than 2000 professionals and more than 500 subcontractors. Through the network, organisations in different industries can acquire the IT experts they need for various projects and assignments flexibly, and the demand is reflected in Digia Hub's operations. Its revenue grew by more than 30 percent in the third quarter of 2022.
