The City of Helsinki chose Digia as their CRM system partner
Digia Finland Ltd will provide the City of Helsinki with customer relationship management systems expert services, including a Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution and associated technologies. The period of the framework agreement is four years, and the estimated total value of the procurement is EUR 12 million.
The City of Helsinki is standardising and developing its customer relationship management (CRM) and associated systems. The aim is to standardise customer service and customer communication, boost their effectiveness and provide better services to city residents. The city invited tenders for CRM system expert services coupled with a Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform and associated technologies. The products were selected based on overall value for money, which was determined by the quality-price ratio of the tender.
“It’s great to get the opportunity to help develop the operating models of Finland’s largest city and, through that, to contribute to future municipal services provided by the city. Our success in the tendering process shows our competitiveness when it comes to providing demanding Microsoft D365 packages and as a public-sector partner”, says Digia Director Samuli Forsman.
The CRM system will make life easier for employees and improve customer service
Digia has extensive experience in delivering Microsoft CRM systems, and the company is home to one of Finland’s largest communities of experts on Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform. In addition to its expertise with Microsoft systems, the company also has comprehensive and diverse expertise in areas such as analytics, integration, cloud platforms and service management and administration.
“A CRM system that is effective and right for the job will support the city’s customer relationship management process and help structure and utilise customer information, supporting operations and development. Fluid CRM processes and a fluid set of IT systems also make information easier to access for all necessary parties, which has positive effects such as making work processes and decision-making easier and more efficient”, Forsman says.
Digia is Microsoft’s Cloud Business Applications Gold Partner and Smart Business Solutions/Dynamics 365 Partner in Finland. The company was also the only Finnish IT supplier chosen for Microsoft’s global Business Applications Inner Circle for the second year in a row.
