Specialising in advanced analytics solutions, Avarea’s net sales came to some EUR 3.6 million at the end of their financial year on 30 September 2017. Before the deal is completed, Avarea will separate its product business into a company of its on, and this product business will not be part of the deal. There are 41 analytics specialists working in Helsinki in the business that will be transferred to Digia.

The parties have agreed that the sale will be completed on 29 March 2018 and that the sales price will not be disclosed. The acquisition does not affect the employment of Avarea Oy's personnel.
