Digia invests in competence development to accelerate the use of AI in business operations

Digia's investment in competence development and cooperation with Microsoft in the Nordic countries will enable a smooth transition from traditional ERP solutions and data platforms to the modern Microsoft Dynamics 365 business platform. At the same time, the use of artificial intelligence and AI agents will be accelerated to achieve concrete business benefits.

The development of digitalisation is moving towards automated and AI-driven processes and services based on reliable data and the ability of organisations to refine and utilise it throughout the business chain.

"Traditional ERP and CRM solutions are transforming. Organisations need comprehensive, intelligent business platforms to develop their operations. There is a demand in the market for wide-ranging partners who can combine data, solutions that promote business operations, and artificial intelligence", says Timo Levoranta, CEO of Digia.

Digia's mission is to keep companies and society at the forefront of digital evolution. To support this work, Digia is also intensifying its cooperation with Microsoft.

"We have invested significantly in competence development and partnership. We want to be the best and most comprehensive Microsoft partner for customers who want to utilise intelligent business platforms and data and take full advantage of the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence and AI agents", Levoranta says.

"Our cooperation with Digia helps companies achieve better results and make faster, informed decisions. We are excited to work with Digia to offer our customers innovative solutions that meet today's business challenges", says Mervi Airaksinen, CEO of Microsoft Oy.

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem is leading the way and enabling change now

Digia employs one of Finland's largest Microsoft Dynamics 365 expert communities. It was among the first Finnish companies to achieve the Microsoft Small and Midsize Business Management specialization. Between 2021 and 2024, Digia was also selected three times for Microsoft's global Business Applications Inner Circle network.

"The Small and Midsize Business Management specialization is a testament to the partner's deep knowledge and extensive experience in delivering powerful, cloud-based business applications to small and medium-sized businesses. Congratulations to Digia on this great achievement", says Tarja Jernström, Director, Commercial Partner Lead at Microsoft.

"Microsoft's modern technologies, such as the Dynamics 365 ecosystem and the data management and artificial intelligence solutions built around it, are now leading the way and enabling change. For example, organisations can achieve significant efficiency gains and cost savings by utilising personal assistants and Enterprise Agents. The strength of our cooperation is based on the artificial intelligence solutions built on and into business platforms and on our ability to build, develop and maintain business-critical systems," adds Tapani Ojaluoma, Digia´s Senior Vice President of the Business Platforms Business Unit.
