SDG Flag Day – Digia flies the flag for the UN's Sustainable Development Goals
On 25 September 2025, Digia will join thousands of operators in a global flag campaign to demonstrate its commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
On 25 September, it will be ten years since the 193 UN member states agreed on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda.
These 17 goals will guide the work of sustainable development for the entire world in 2016–2030.
Digia celebrates the day and wants to demonstrate its commitment to increasing awareness of the UN Programme of Action and spurring change in different sectors of society.
"Our sustainable business model and a responsible way of working are essential to Digia's strategy and business success. The UN's Sustainable Development Goals, especially good education, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, sustainable industry, innovations and infrastructures, reducing inequality, and climate action, have been one of the foundations of our sustainability programme for years," says Anne Puntari, Digia's Head of Sustainability.
"We want to be a reliable and responsible employer for our employees and a development partner for our customers - now and in the future. That is why we regularly monitor and report on the progress of our sustainability work and targets, and we also actively develop our operations based on them," says Puntari.
