President and CEO since 1.5.2016 and member of Digia’s Management Team. Reporting to the Board of Directors, Levoranta is responsible for the company's operative business. Previously he worked as Senior Vice President, Digia’s domestic business. Prior to Digia, Timo Levoranta has served in many different managerial positions in the ICT industry, most recently as the CEO of TDC Finland Oy (2011-2015). Previously he worked as Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, at Outokumpu Oyj (2008-2011) and in various positions at TeliaSonera (2002-2008) and Sonera (1995-2002).

Chief Financial Officer and member of Digia’s Management Team since 2013. Responsible for the company's finances and governance. Prior to Digia, Tuula Haataja was employed by YIT as a CFO for Construction Services Finland, YIT Building Services segment and YIT Primatel (2002–2013) and by Sonera in various financial management roles (1995–2002). When she worked as an Auditor for PWC (1991–1995), her main areas of responsibility were in Finland, Russia and Baltic countries.

General Counsel, Digia’s Management Team member since 1.5.2016. In charge of legal matters in the company. Before joining Digia, Mr Kervinen been acting as Senior Legal Counsel at Fondia (2015-2016), director of the business support unit at TDC Finland Oy (2012-2014), in-house counsel in various specialist and supervisory positions in Nokia's network business companies (2004-2012), TeliaSonera Oyj (1998-2012) and Kesko Corporation (1996-1998).

Senior Vice President, Digia’s Management team member since 1.5.2016. Member of the Domestic segment’s management team 2015-2016. Responsible for sales, marketing, service design, consultation, and digital service development. Mr Talvela's employment history before joining Digia: Executive, Senior Adviser at Bearingpoint (2013–2015), Managing Director of Compass Management Partners Oy (2004–2012), Managing Director of CAA Consulting Oy (1991–2003), Managing Director of Datatime/Technical Systems Oy (1987–1990), Sales and Marketing Director at Hewlett Packard Oy (1984–1987), Sales Director at Esselte Oy (1980–1983), and Product Manager at IBM Oy (1975–1980).

Previous positions include Unit Manager at Digia (2006–2008), director at Digia's predecessor Sentera Plc (2003–2006), chief information officer and management team member at FinnetCom Oy (2002–2003) and Corenet Oy (1999–2002), and project manager, consultant and software developer at Solagem Oy (1993–1999), and part-time work at Unic Oy (1992) while completing his studies.

Vice President, Financial Solutions, member of Digia's Management Team since 1.5.2016. Member of the Domestic segment's Management Team 2014-2016. Since 2007, Mr Flink has held various managerial positions in Digia's financial solutions business division. In 2000–2006, he was a software design engineer and product development manager at Boss Information Oy and Samstock Oy. He was awarded a Master's degree from the University of Jyväskylä in 2001, where he majored in software engineering.

Senior Vice President, member of Digia’s Management Team since 1.5.2016. Member of Domestic segment’s Management Team and CEO’s Deputy Chairman in Domestic segment 2014-2016. Member of the Group Management Team 2012–2014. Previously Head of Business Development (2010–2013) and Vice President, Integration Business Unit (2009). Held managerial positions in Integration business, strategic customerships and development at the Digia Industry & Trade Division (2006–2008), Sentera Plc (2003–2006), Iocore Plc (2000–2003) and Open Solutions Group (1998–2000). Before this, Puusola worked for TEK Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland in publications and internet (1992–1998) and for VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland in software development (1989–1992). Computer science studies at the Helsinki University of Technology.

Vice President, Member of Digia’s management Team since 1.5.2016. Member of the Domestic segment's management team 2015–2016. Head of Digia's integration business (2013–). Previous experience includes various managerial positions in the integration business sector of Digia's Digital Services unit (2010–2012) and Integration Solutions unit (2009–2010); project management and supervisory duties in electronic services, communications systems and integration solutions at Digia Industry and Trade division (2007–2008), Sentera Plc (2005–2006) and Key Partners Oy (2005). Before joining Digia's predecessor, he held project management and specialist positions associated with publication systems at Casedev Active Oy (2001-2004).

Senior Vice President, Digital Services, Member of Digia’s management team since July 1, 2016. Director of Digia’s consulting and service design business and principal consultant (2014-). Headed Solita’s consulting and service design business (2011-2014) and acted as Head of Sales for Google Enterprise in Finland (2009-2011). During his career, has worked in various roles related to consulting customers on digital business strategies and selling related enterprise software. Graduated from Pacific Lutheran University (United States) with an MBA degree in 1995.

CTO, member of the Digia’s Management Team since September 19, 2016. Responsible for technology leadership and solution architecture services in Digia. Before joining Digia Mr Juppo has worked as Director, Business Development in Finanssi-Kontio (2013-2016), Service Director in CGI Finland (2011-2013) and as CTO in Capgemini.

CEO

The company's Chief Executive Officer is appointed by the Board of Directors. The CEO is in charge of Digia's business operations and administration in accordance with the instructions and regulations issued by the Board of Directors, and as defined by the Finnish Limited Liability Companies Act. The CEO may take exceptional and far-reaching measures, in view of the nature and scope of the company's activities, only if so authorised by the Board of Directors. The CEO chairs the Group Management Team’s meetings. The CEO is not a member of the Board of Directors, but attends Board meetings.

The Board of Directors approves the CEO's service contract, which contains a written definition of the key terms and conditions of the CEO’s employment. 

Timo Levoranta has been Digia Plc's President and CEO since 1 May 2016.

 

Management

The Group Management Team supports the President & CEO in the routine management of the company. The CEO appoints Management Team members and decides on the terms and conditions of their service contracts.

The CEO chairs meetings of Digia’s Management Team. The Management Team consists of ten members. The Team meets once a week to assist the CEO in strategic planning, strategy implementation, operative management, and preparing items for consideration by the Board of Directors. The Board draws up annual action and financial plans, sets their associated targets, and monitors their progress. It also prepares significant investments, mergers and acquisitions. The CEO is responsible for the Management Group’s decisions. Members of the Management Group are tasked with implementing these decisions within their own areas of responsibility.
