Timo Levoranta
PRESIDENT AND CEO
Born 1965, M.Sc. (Tech.), B.Sc. (Econ. and Bus. Adm.)
President and CEO since 1.5.2016 and member of Digia’s Management Team.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, Levoranta is responsible for the company's operative business.
Previously he worked as Senior Vice President, Digia’s domestic business (2016). Prior to Digia, Timo Levoranta has served in many different managerial positions in the ICT industry, most recently as the CEO of TDC Finland Oy (2011). Previously he worked as Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, at Outokumpu Oyj (2008-2011) and in various positions at TeliaSonera (2002-2008) and Sonera (1995-2002).
Kristiina Simola
CFO
Born 1965, M.Sc. (Econ.)
Chief Financial Officer and member of Digia's Management team since 14 August 2017.
Simola is responsible for the company's finances and governance.
Prior to Digia Simola was employed by Digitalist Group Plc as a CFO. Her previous positions have included Deputy Managing Director and Group CFO of Mirasys Oy, Senior Manager and Finance Transformation Business Lead at Deloitte Oy, and CFO at Profit Software Oy.
Mika Kervinen
GENERAL COUNSEL
Born 1968, LL.M., Trained on the Bench
General Counsel, Digia’s Management Team member since 1.5.2016.
Kervinen is in charge of legal matters in the company. Before joining Digia, Mr Kervinen been acting as Senior Legal Counsel at Fondia (2015-2016), director of the business support unit at TDC Finland Oy (2012-2014), in-house counsel in various specialist and supervisory positions in Nokia's network business companies (2004-2012), TeliaSonera Oyj (1998-2004) and Kesko Corporation (1996-1998).
Pia Huhdanmäki
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, HR, CULTURE AND SUSTAINABILITY
Born 1969, LL.M.
Senior Vice President, HR and Culture, member of Digia management team since 1.2.2018. Responsible for Digia Plc’s HR Operations. Prior to Digia Pia Huhdanmäki worked as a leading public relations specialist in RadioMedia and FinnMedia (2017-2018), CHRO of Sanoma Media Finland (2012–2016), Director of HR, legal and communications within Sanoma Entertainment (2007–2011) and Sanoma News (2010-2011) and as IPR- and corporate lawyers and public relations specialist in various specialist and managing roles within Sanoma Group (1996-2006).
Juhana Juppo
CTO & SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
Born 1971, M.Sc. (Computer Science)
CTO, as well as member of the Digia’s Management Team since September 19, 2016.
Juppo is responsible for technology leadership and solution architecture services as well as Horizontal Services in Digia. The Horizontal Services unit steers the development of shared operating models and technologies.
Before joining Digia Mr Juppo has worked as Director, Business Development in Finanssi-Kontio (2013-2016), Service Director in CGI Finland (2011-2013) and as CTO in Capgemini.
Tapani Ojaluoma
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS PLATFORMS
Born 1971, M.Sc. (Computer Science)
Director of business platforms and member of Digia’s Management Team since 2 April 2024.
Tapani Ojaluoma has over 25 years of experience in the ICT industry and international projects across various sectors. From 2009 to 2024, he has held several sales and business leadership roles, including over 7 years as part of the management team at CGI Finland Oy. His expertise spans business management, strategy, sales leadership, and knowledge of business systems and outsourcing. Prior to his CGI tenure, Ojaluoma held consulting and business development roles at Accenture Oy (2001–2009). Early in his career, he also served in expert and management positions at Telia from 1993 to 2001.
Tuomo Niemi
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCIAL PLATFORMS, M&A and IT
Born 1962, M.Sc. (Economics & Business), M.Sc. (Engineering)
Senior Vice President, Digia Financial Platforms and member of Digia's Management Team since 1 June 2017.
Niemi has held numerous leadership positions at Accenture. His lengthy experience includes responsibility for Finnish banking and non-life insurance operations, and Accenture’s outsourcing sales in Finland and the Nordic countries.
Accenture, Managing Director, 2003–2017 and Senior Manager/Manager 1996-2003. ICL Personal Systems, 1992–1996 (Fujitsu Computers), Head of Information Systems.
Sami Paihonen
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, DIGITAL SOLUTIONS
Born 1974, M.Sc. (Tech.)
Director of Digia's analytics and digital services business, and member of Digia’s Management Team since October 18, 2021.
Before joining Digia, Paihonen has at Savox Communications and Savox Ventures in various executive positions (2018-2021). Prior to this, Paihonen has worked for Digitalist Group (formerly Ixonos) in various executive positions (2010-2018), such as CEO (2015-2017), and Samsung (2008-2010). These years also include working abroad.
Pasi Ropponen
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, SALES AND MARKETING
Born 1973, BBA
Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing and member of Digia's Management team since 11 April 2022.
Ropponen is responsible for the company's sales and marketing. Prior to Digia Ropponen was employed by Siili Solutions where he was most recently the acting CEO besides having various sales executive and business management positions (2012-2022). His previous positions have included sales executive and consulting positions at Trainers’ House (2006-2012) of which he was the sales head of their Ignis subsidiary between 2008-2011.
Janne Tuominen
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, MANAGED SOLUTIONS
Born 1978, M.Sc. (Tech.)
Director of Digia’s integration and API business, cloud business and 24/7 managed services, and member of Digia’s Management Team since March 29, 2021.
Tuominen has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry in various tasks: his career has gone from being a developer and an architect to sales and leading business areas. Tuominen has previously worked at CGI in the position of Director responsible for own products (2018–2021) and in various positions at Finanssi-Kontio (2013–2018).
